A rapidly expanding service provider in Redditch, Worcestershire requires a talented PHP developer to join their existing team of 5 developers. You'll be involved in the complete overhaul of they're systems, rewriting code in more efficient object orientated PHP5.

Reporting to the MD, some of your responsibilities will include:

Working as part of a team to improve and develop tools and techniques.
Testing software and writing comprehensive documentation for the resulting applications.
Designing efficient databases
Writing efficient and manageable code, primarily in OO PHP
Before considering applying for the role please consider the following essential requirements:

PHP4 or 5 (OOP experience required)
MySQL (4-5 years experience).
Good understanding of internet protocols
Strong IT and Internet skills.
W3C standards.

The interview process will include a written technical test, whereby the candidate will have to produce a PHP script.
