Graduate Analyst
A nationwide leisure company has an exciting new job opportunity for a finance graduate to join there marketing team in Birmingham. The role is to provide professional analytical information to their marketing department.
This is an interesting and varied role for a graduate who is ready to start a successful career. The ideal candidate will have to have graduated with an accounting / finance related degree with a 2.1 or a 2.2. To apply for the position you will need to confident and highly numerate and have strong analytical capabilities with a high level of attention to detail.
Listed below are some of the areas that will be covered in this role:
- Analysis of the ongoing CRM activity to identify trends and refine key target groups
- Analysis of local activity, including test and learn initiatives to develop best practice for further application across the estate
- Analysis of DRS points activity, including test and learn initiatives to identify best practice and optimum day part programming
- Application of Mosaic data modelling software combined with supplemental intelligence and data identify target groups, market saturation and key user and non user groups which can be developed to improve visit and spend
- Produce ad-hoc reports as required by the Director of Marketing and Head of Marketing
- Interface effectively with entire cross-section of business from Board of Directors to junior personnel.
Skills required for this post:
- An excellent standard of computer literacy, including Microsoft excel skills and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of contact and in a wide variety of situations
- An awareness of the "bigger picture" within a large organisation is essential for this role
- Natural self starter and highly motivated, with the ability to work on own initiative and manage own workload with limited supervision, whilst being an active team player
- Ability to prioritise effectively and adhere to strict deadlines
