am a songwriter who has played in bands for a good few years. My band split and me and my drummer along with a bass player and guitar (i also play guitar) are now seeking a vocalist (male or female) to get a band going and get gigging.

You must be committed to practising every week (pref. thursdays i think). We have the songs and i can email you the lyrics and acoustics to go through. We put out an ad and had a goodresponse but need the right person, we are holding trials on the 12th and 19th november @ madhouse, hockley, brum.

The style is pretty much indie i guess, some fast some slow songs but we are also thinking of maybe something different like spoken verses (enter shakari, streets etc) and singing choruses for some songs, it an idea we can work on i guess, but you need to have good stage presence and personality and be up for music and getting somewhere possibly.
