Title: Electronics Design Engineer
Reports to: Managing Director
Based at: Birmingham
Job purpose:
To plan and carry out specific projects within framework provided. Ability to interpret a design brief and produce a schematic and PCB design.
Key role:
Working within an SME the successful applicant will be a highly motivated self starter. Must have experience of industry standard schematic and pcb design applications, autotrax would be useful but not essential. Additionally digital electronics design, Microchip PIC controllers and any communications equipment experience would be useful.

Designing, developing and customising remote monitoring, logging and biometric devices connecting to web based applications will give excellent exposure to a broad range of technologies.

Using predominantly digital electronics, PIC Micros and mobile communications the applicant would be expected to hit the ground running, or work in a mature manner with minimal supervision. They should be able to take a design brief and produce a schematic and PCB design.
