Meticulous and self motivated Housekeeper/Butler required for country house in Warwickshire. 5½ days per week (Tuesday to Sunday lunchtime) with split shifts. This is a sole position i.e. there are no other domestic staff. The emphasis is more on housekeeping skills as opposed to cooking, encompassing cleaning, laundry, bed making etc. Cooking is only required to a basic standard, as any dinner parties are catered for by a specialist catering company. Attention to detail is paramount, and the successful candidate will need to demonstrate a high degree of common sense and the ability to ‘get on with the job’. Due to the location, a driving licence is essential.

Currently the owner lives alone, although occasionally there are house guests. There is also an office in the property. The house is set in 43 acres of grounds, looked after by a full time and part time gardener.

The position is live-in and a newly renovated 2-bedroomed self contained flat will be made available; as this is accessed through the main house and there are dogs in the household, unfortunately pets cannot be accommodated. The furnished accommodation is provided rent, heat/light and Council Tax free, but is directly linked to the term of employment.
