On Thursday 29th October (During October Half Term) Laura Joy Godwin is going to be running a 1 day Singing Workshop for children in the local community aged 6 -15.

The course is run by Laura Joy Godwin who is a graduate of Birmingham Conservatoire where she gained a BMus specialising in Vocal and Operatic Studies. Laura is a freelance musician and singing teacher who is also the director of four local choirs including St. Francis Church and School Choirs in Bournville, Wychall Primary School Choir and Bounville-Vocal-Ease ladies choir, as well as running singing workshops in schools for children across the UK. Laura is also the founder and director of 'Children's Singing Course, Bournville' who run fun packed weeks of singing activities for children during February Half Term and Summer Holidays.

During this workshop the children will spend the day working towards a fun medley such as Mamma Mia! (Highlights from the Movie Soundtrack!) or Disney Dazzle! This will then be presented to friends and family in a small concert at the end of the day.

The workshop will run from St. Francis Primary School, 10am-3pm.
The cost of the workshop is £20 per child = £4 per hour! (Places to be booked and paid for by Friday 16th October 2009)
