- the A1 qualification (Assess Candidates Using a Range of Methods); and,

- suitable experience to assess the NVQ titles and levels in your work area (experience levels and/or qualifications for Assessors are different for each NVQ and are defined in the Standards). Note: to operate as an Assessor you will need to be taken on, and operate through, an Approved NVQ Centre - there are part-time and full-time NVQ Assessor opportunities.
