Senior Residential Support Worker

Location: Telford

Job Summary

To provide comprehensive respite or longer term care for younger people placed at home, including physical, social and emotional care. Assist and support programmes designed to promote the emotional well being and growth of residents within the home.
You will be working with young people that have challenging behaviour, supporting them with day to day activities.

Main Duties

Provision of general day to day care to residents as nesseccary. Meal preparation and supervision,, laundry, light repair of garments, clothes and food shopping, supervision of social activities, assistance with washing .
Act as learning support assistant
Plan, facilitate and attend visits with young people
Moniter young person

The suitable candidate will have NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care along with 6 months paid experience in a residential setting. Must be flexible with working hours and be a car driver.
