Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant?

Hays Education is currently recruiting for Qualified Teaching Assistants with extensive experience of working with SEN pupils to work at Special Schools in the Erdington & Sutton Coldfield areas of Birmingham. We are seeking supply staff with NVQ Level 3 and relevant experience to cover day to day and for long term assignments.

Qualifications and experience required:
Preferably hold an NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification
Experience in a classroom environment, especially supportingt children with Learning Difficulties, Autism, Emotional & Behaviour Difficulties and ADHD
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to plan and organise and use own initiative
Committed to maintaining high standards
Flexible and Team Player
Caring, friendly, responsible, reliable and patient personality
Specialists in KS1 & 2 are also required

Roles may vary from supporting pupils in small groups or on a one to one basis.
