Family Support Co-ordinator - Birmingham

A national childcare charity requires an experienced Social Care professional to operate as a Family Support Co-ordinator.

The Family Support Co-ordinator is responsible for ensuring that the Children's Centre provides emotional support, guidance on parenting, and access to a wide range of services for all parents of children under 5's. This will involve the management of a team of Family Support Workers across the two centres. A full and detailed job description is available on request.

You will be an experienced Social Care professional, qualified to NVQ 3 or higher (or equivalent) with significant experience of working with Children and Families. Previous experiences of managing staff or at team leader level is preferred but not essential.

The role is based in and around the Birmingham area. This is easily commutable from locations in the West Midlands such as Solihull, Sutton Coldfield, Smethwick, Oldbury, Dudley, West Bromwich, Walsall, Woverhampton and beyond.
