Graphic / Web Designer - Computer Games Development, Singapore

A successful, high profile Computer Games Developer is now seeking to recruit a Graphic / Web Designer to work on the development of a cutting edge computer game. The candidate should have a good understanding of web page design and menu systems and be able to demonstrate a broad
range of skills and abilities including core graphic design competencies. The successful candidate will be responsible for determining the style, functionality and features of the User Interface for a cutting edge computer game.

The Graphic / Web Designer visualizes the connection between player and game. They give clarity to what actions are available to the player and how the player interacts with the game. They have a
strong passion for the latest trends in Graphic design, as well as strong interest in the latest trends in media presentation and graphic art developments.

Applicants will have a strong portfolio of art and ideally have had experience as web and or graphic designer. They posses strong as intuition of lighting, shape and colour. They are also straight
thinkers who can handle complex Graphics. Unreal3 and 3d experience is a plus, but not required.

The ideal candidate will have the following traits;
 Plays MMOs.
 A strong technical background in Photoshop and Illustrator software.
 Good illustration, composition, shape, colour and lighting knowledge.
 Experience with Web authoring tools
 Traditional art training is a plus.
 The ability to work under the direction of the Game and Art Directors.
 The ability to work toward timelines.
 Good communication skills.
 A love for team/collaborative work.
 Familiar with game art creation processes is not a requirement but a bonus.

The role will suit individuals currently working as Web Designer, Graphic Designer, Graphic Artist and be able to live and work in Singapore. The salary on offer will be equivalent to £25,000 to £32,000 depending on experience.
