I'm based in Birmingham and I'm looking for a female bassist/backing vocalist a la Kim Deal/Charlotte Cooper. My band is called Nerve Centre and we play indie rock with a pinch of grunge. It would also be essential that if you think I'm being a twat that you tell me immediately and we can sort it immediately - so quiet and shy people probably should stay away

I'm also looking for a lead guitarist of any gender, but they really have got to be good enough to play on a record.

Commitment level is very high. I would be looking to rehearse once or twice a week and gig at least once a week. I've been gigging around Brum for a while now so gigs are guaranteed. We've also been recording with a tracking engineer who has worked with Bruce Dickinson and Foo Fighters so we're about making records not demos. You need to have all your own gear and be prepared to split costs.
