Calling all massage therapists to volunteer their time

“Touch a heart” is a volunteer event which we organize every year for therapists to offer free holistic treatments to senior citizens in care homes in order to benefit from gentle, healing touch.

This year we organize a Massage Day in which therapists can volunteer in care homes by offering short 15 minutes head, hands and feet massage to each elderly; these treatments should be incorporated in the care home’s program on 10 December 2009 or as close as possible from this day at the convenience of the therapist and care home.
Our plan is to engage as many therapists as possible from all over the UK to cover as many care homes as possible so that many of our elderly can experience a relaxing, non-invasive therapeutic treatment.

Let’s make it our intention to treat them as unique individuals and make our treatments a great gift for them. Bring joy this Christmas! You never know whose life you might have silently touched forever!
