Lead Electronics Engineer/ Project Manager

My client is based in the Midlands and is seeking a Lead Electronics Engineer - Analogue and Digital, Low Power, Portable Electronic Equipment.
This role is commutable from Birmingham, Coventry, Worcester, Northampton, Nuneaton and Leicester.

They have a track record which stretches back over 40 years in the delivery of tailored engineering solutions to a diverse market, has lead this organisation to be an internationally recognised design consultancy serving a broad range of technologies including Consumer, Automotive, Sports & Entertainment, Fire & Safety and Medical.

We seek to identify a Lead Electronics Engineer with a demonstrable background that can show your ability to adapt to different products with each project you take on. As the client knows more about their product than you initially do, you have to be able to efficiently understand their needs and present back to them your solution. You'll then be responsible for the product from concept to reality, from design to manufacture.

You must have an Electronics Engineering degree from a well-established university with a strong engineering reputation, and have experience in a product design environment, including both analogue and digital, playing an active role in the development of the team. You should have been involved in taking at least one product through the complete design process. Ideally, having managed a significant part of the project. Experience of a range of market sectors, product types and manufacturing processes would also be useful.
