Qualified Social Worker Children & Disabilities
3 Qualified Social Workers are required to work with the Care Management team in Birmingham City Council.
Candidates will be responsible for a mixed caseload consisting of children & young people in care, on a Child Protection Plan or requiring family support.
Candidates must have experience of undertaking assessments & reviews of children in care, and an understanding of the Court process, with the ability to prepare and present Court Reports. Experience of working with children & young people with a learning difficulty would be an advantage.
Role is FULL-TIME; duration approx 3 months, subject to review. Must be a car-driver as this is a city-wide service.
