ASP.Net C# & .NET 3.5 WCF AJAX XML Intermediate/Senior Developer - Central Birmingham - £40k

A rare chance for a talented C# ASP.NET Developer to join an innovative .NET team creating leading-edge software products in the IP site generation, content management, document management and document/email search & retrieval fields.
The work is challenging, highly focused and creative because our client are aiming at world class level, you'll have a good understanding of .NET, in particular C# and ASP.Net. JavaScript expertise and exposure to XML or SQL is required and you will also have been responsible for designing good web based user interfaces and you should be able to provide suitable examples.
You should be highly motivated and well organised, also used to documenting and thoroughly testing your work.

Essential Skills sought are -
* ASP.NET & C# versions1.1, 2.0/3.5 including Web Services
* Strong knowledge of JavaScript
* Detailed XHTML / HTML knowledge
* XML/XSLT/XPath
* Strong experience of CSS styling of pages
* IIS6 experience
* SQL (MySQL/SQL Server experience)
* Windows Server 2003
* Microsoft AJAX
* Proven experience of developing systems & designing websites in ASP.Net
* Experience and knowledge of content management systems
Advantageous:
* Silverlight 2.0/3.0 experience
* WCF services
* Microsoft AJAX Toolkit
* JavaScript Framework experience such as JQuery/Prototype etc
* Classic ASP
* Dreamweaver
* Exposure to Adobe Photoshop
