The others are broke or have other financial commitments so they can t raise the money. I don t want to go travelling by myself so that s why I m on Gumtree to find others who are in the same situation and simply just want to go travelling and meet new people. About The Trip. I don t know where i want to go or even exactly how long i want to go for (maybe 1 to 3mths all I know is that I want to get away after May June 2009. As cheesy as this sounds the world is so big I don t know where to begin so at the moment everywhere is a consideration. I want to travel around Australia and snorkel the Great Barrier Reef explore the vast National Parks of Western Australia and take to the water on Sydney Harbour Sail on the Great Barrier Reef watch a sunset over Uluru climb the Sydney Harbour Bridge go white water rafting in the rainforest or learn to surf on white sandy beaches I want to elephant ride through Asia barter in Bangkok get lost in the Golden Triangle and chill on island beaches. Soak up the sun on the beaches on the islands of Thailand go overland through Vietnam Cambodia and Laos see the Orang-Utans of Malaysia or go for something completely different in Japan China and India. I want to cruise route 66 see pelicans in Florida feel the spray at Niagara Falls shop in La and peep into the Grand Canyon. Maybe go to Chicago Philly New Orleans and even do Vegas. I want to explore Europe .sink a stein in Berlin sample the sweets in Brussels feel a little holy in the Vatican City and sail down the Nile. Sailing in Croatia and the Greek Islands city hopping around France and Spain exploring Eastern Europe or further afield to Scandinavia and Russia. There s so much to see and do however I must say I don t have any plans to travel the around the world on one trip. I think that I would prefer to do one continent or two. For example travel around Japan China Thailand Australia New Zealand and Fiji .or maybe just do Europe. Who ID Like To Meet. I love life and people and genuinely want to be around positive fun people. I love adventures and love to challenge myself so I m looking for like minded people. This isn t going to a holiday where we would just lie on a beach for weeks on end. I want to get the most out of this trip so I want anyone who to wants to come to have the same opinion. Ideally I would like to get a group of people together. I don t have numbers in mind but we ll just see what happens as it depends on who gets along and where people want to go. Im not looking for people who aren t sure if they want to travel or not. I would like to meet people who actually want to go travelling anytime after May June 2009 and is serious about going. Skin colour religion male female etc etc are irrelevant. However I would prefer to travel with people who are in their 20s. Ultimately I m just looking for someone to share the adventure and the costs. About Me. Of all the places I have visited and there have been many I dont think there is a placew quite like Akyarlar. It is only a 3 hour trip direct from all UK airports and the flights are affordable. The sun shines for an average of 300 days a year (official) summer startys in May and finishes early November. The beach there is 1km long very natural (no burger stalls here) the water is crystal clear and gentle. The food is allways fresh and so cheap and at 2 and a half Turkish lira to the you feel like a king.
