Fat Fluffs Rabbit Rescue is a small rescue centre run from a residential property in Solihull. Having been awarded charity status in 2008 and working closely with other rescues and charities, Fat Fluffs is quickly out growing it's current premises and is looking to expand in the near future. Currently there are millions of volunteers in the UK and we are looking for caring compassionate volunteers who would like to gain experience in the animal care profession.
Current Vacancies are:
Resource controller (Voluntary)
Duties: The continuous systematic control of stock and accessories used in the day to day running of a small animal rescue.
Skills and abilities: Physically fit, organisational and methodical, responsible, good communicator
Rabbit Welfare keeper (Voluntary)
Duties: The maintaining and monitoring of the health and well being of animals in care at a small animal rescue.
Skills and abilities: Physically fit, responsible, a good understanding of human health in the context of disease transmission from animal or animal products to man, confident and experienced in the handling and care of small animals particularly rabbits.
Events Volunteer (Voluntary)
Duties: The first point of contact for the general public representing and offering information and advice on animal care and a small animal rescue at public relation and fundraising events.
Skills and abilities: Good communicator, responsible, informed and savvy with up-to-date details in regards to small animal care. good time keeping.
