C# .NET Developer - Birmingham
This is an excellent opportunity for a C# .NET Developer to progress their career within a large, multi-national organisatiion.
The role will comprise:
- Development and implementation of the software required.
- Analysis of development deigns to ensure that they are both practical and re-usable.
- Ensure quality of `product` produced is high.
- Implementation of resilience, sufficient auditing and documentation in all software to facilitate handover to Service Management.
- Provision of 4th line developer support.
Required skills:
- Commercial awareness
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a project based environment
- Proven track record or technical understanding of software application integrations, data transformation etc.
- Technical knowledge and proven track record in:
Visual Studio 2005 - 2008
C# .NET (v2 minimum, including web technologies)
SQL Server 2000 / 2005 / 2008
TSQL (including Stored Procedures, UDFs)
XML
XSLT
SSIS / DTS
Web Services
The following skills would also be beneficial:
- VB6, C# .NET 3.5, Oracle, Biztalk, WCF Services, LINQ and a proven track record or understanding of Service Orientated Architectures (SOA).
