On 25th August it'll be our birthday and we'd like to extend our open, dancing arms to all of you that have been 'thinking' about Salsa lessons for far too long. We love all wannabe dancers but we'd particularly like to invite beginners to just 'give it a go'. So, on Tuesday 25th August we're reducing our usual £5, all-night dancing lesson to just £3 - just to see if you like it!

Our existing customers (now friends) are a local, friendly, happy, welcoming bunch, we have our own large, private function room, traditional Salsa beats and we love new faces :0)

Held at what us locals used to call the 'GKN', Salsa classes are held each Tuesday commencing at 7.30pm. This promotion is available for Tuesday 25th August only.

Q: What shall I wear?
Absolutely anything you feel comfortable in. We're here to love dance, it's not a fashion contest. We would however, recommend footwear with a slippy sole, wellies are a bit cumbersome don't you think?

Q: What time and where at?
Tuesday 25th August 2009 at 7.30pm and every Tuesday thereafter. Thimblemill Recreation and Entertainment Centre (formally known as the GKN), Thimblemill Road, Smethwick, West Midlands, B67 6NR.

Q: I'm a bit shy about going on my own, will I feel welcome?
Definitely! We were all strangers when we started this up and know how it feels to be the 'newbie'. We'll welcome you without doubt, we love making new friends. Besides, we want to be liked too!

Q: If I come on my own will I have someone to dance with?
Too right! You'll all be in the same boat and we want you to love Salsa as much as we do. We understand it might seem daunting, so, once we've taught all of you the basic steps it's essential that we teach you the 'connectivity' involved. We ensure you are partnered with people that can really help you learn, and smile!

Q: How long will it take to become a Salsa dancer?
We totally understand that each person has different capabilities and we'll make sure that we give you as much instruction that's needed. There's no time limit on loving dancing, keeping fit or making new friends is there?

Q: Is there parking?
There is a huge, free car park at the entrance to the venue.

Q: Is there a bar or coffee or tea?
Yes, and it's brilliantly priced too.

Q: How do I pay?
Cash on the night.

Q: What if I'm just really crap?
Who cares? We definitely don't, you're here to learn not audition for Strictly Come Dancing. We all have to start somewhere and every single one of our existing, advanced dancers had to start somewhere.
