Xiphos Research Labs are currently seeking dedicated, creative, and determined candidates for a unique and exciting internship programme.
We are a UK/US start up based in Birmingham UK and New York (on the other side of the pond) who provide high end computer security consulting services to our diverse client base whilst developing unique security software solutions. We are currently seeking for interns and / or juniors that want to break into the world of computer security.
So what it is that we do? Well, we get paid to break into techie things before anybody else does, in the most simple terms. We provide penetration testing and code review services in order for our clients to gain a full picture of the risks that they may be exposed to. We test networks, code, applications, devices, widgets, middleware, infrastructure, hardware, software, and everything in between...
We are looking to expand our technical delivery team, and that is hopefully where you come in. We are looking for IT literate graduates to come and play. The IT literacy bit is more important than the graduate element. If you think that using Excel makes you IT literate - well, it's a start. What we are looking for is someone familiar with the core concepts of computer security (or very eager to learn) with a twisted enough psyche for them to want to get paid to do something fun.
Most intern / junior positions are often unpaid, incredibly dull, and don't actually result in anything. We are paying (what and to who, is entirely up to you), this will be anything but dull (provided you think being an uber geek is cool), and in terms of it leading to things, for the right candidates we want to take on FT (and pay accordingly).
