Hi!

I am an experienced guitarist offering private lessons via webcam. I have been playing actively for 15 years and have studied music at The Academy of Contemporary music (Guildford), Musicians Institute (Los Angeles) and am now finishing my degree studies at The Institute of Contemporary Music (London) after spending a few years as a professional musician in Finland. My work experience includes writing two guitar tabulature books for Hal Leonard Co. (The Best of Opeth and Slayer:Christ Illusion), providing guitar tuition and other musical services through my own company name and performing in various bands and recording projects.

The lessons will be tailored to fit each individuals needs and preferences. Subjects covered may include but not limited to:

-Technique
-Repertoire (your favorite tunes, etc.)
-Improvisation and fretboard navigation
-Rhythm
-Stylistic knowledge
-Theory and harmonic analysis
-Sight reading
-Ear training
-Transcription skills

Ultimately you will decide what the lesson includes but of course I will make suggestions along the way as well. All lesson material will be emailed to you after the lesson so no additional material will be needed. You just need yourself, a guitar, and a desire to learn music. Your level of current ability does not matter. I am experienced in teaching students from total beginner to advanced levels aged 8-60 years old.

Lessons are priced at 20 pounds per hours lesson.
