One of the oldest hotels in Cambridge, has an opportunity for a great Chef de Partie to help to run a superb kitchen, The hotel is located on the edge of the City Centre, within easy walking distance from the famous colleges such as King's, Queen's, Corpus Christi and Magdalene. The hotel has 50 plus en-suite bedrooms including standard and premier rooms and two exclusive self-contained, serviced apartments.
Job Description:
As the Chef de Partie of this hotel, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in the smooth running of the business. You will also be responsible for the breakfast shifts so flexibility is a must. Experience of a CDP role in a similar environment is preferable as the kitchen turns over an average of 200 covers per week in the restaurant and 300 covers a week in C&B within 5 meeting rooms and a ballroom catering for weddings for up to 120 people.
Required Experience:
The ideal candidate must have previously worked in function catering and have hotel experience.
The Chef de Partie will be very passionate about cooking and keen to learn from a very talented and experienced Head Chef. The successful CDP will be a strong and hard-working individual.
Salary & Benefits:
In return we offer a salary of £16.000 per year and live in accommodation is available as well as paid overtime.
