Job Spec
The delivery of national five day delivery service, within defined expense levels.
- The delivery of service levels, which will meet customer expectations
- To maximise use of equipment, personnel and resources to ensure goods are manufactured/packed in the most cost-effective manner. This will include key responsibilities in quality, cost, delivery, safety and morale.
- To uphold and enforce Company H&S policy.
- To work within the organisation quality procedures, maintaining control and encouraging continuous improvement through encouragement and leadership.
- Control/monitor all employees with the department. Identify any training/development needs with the department.
- All raw material/packaging are continually monitored to ensure that minimum working stocks are maintained allowing maximum turnover of capital.

Person Spec
- A minimum of 5 years distribution/warehousing and 3 years experience running the operation department within a similar business size.
- Strong man-management.
- Planning and scheduling and the management of CAPEX projects to improve plant equipment & output.
- Organisations of similar scale or larger than Exol.
- Experience of managing change is also desirable.
