Accountant Part Time
The Company
Robert Half is currently working with leading public sector body to recruit an Accountant to work with them on a part time basis.
The Role
Based in Birmingham the Part Time Accountant will be responsible delivering an excellent financial service that supports the achievement of our clients strategic objectives. You will ensure that their activities comply with HM Treasury guidance, HM Revenue & Customs legislation and our clients policies. To be successful you will need to demonstrate hands on financial experience; have recent experience in implementing a finance system; training staff in the use of systems; have experience in the use of accounting and reporting software. In addition to this knowledge of the budgetary process, business planning and auditing practises would be extremely beneficial. The ideal candidate will be professionally qualified and will have significant post qualification experience; will ideally have experience of public sector experience and change management. In addition to this you will have excellent Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
Salary & Benefits
Accountant, Part Time, Birmingham, £27,000 - £34,000 pro rata
