Our client is developing specialist modules for the security and imaging arena. Continue growth has necessitate the need for an Analog / Digital Electronics Design Engineer.

The Analog / Digital Electronics Design Engineer will involve PCB analogue, power supply and digital circuit design, layout, testing and characterisation working closely with the R&D team to deliver the electronic circuitry driving the modules.

As the company grows there will be opportunities for increased responsibility. Responsibilities for the Analog / Digital Electronics Design Engineer will include :

Design and prototyping of low frequency analogue and digital circuitry - KHz-MHz range.
Design and prototyping of low noise, sequenced, power supply.
Design and prototyping of sampling circuitry, including microcontroller programming.
Schematic capture and PCB layout.
Generation of documentation as appropriate, including detailed design document, interface control document, manufacturing pack (for outsourced activities such as PCB manufacture and population), assembly documentation, test plans and procedures, test reports.
Integration and testing of subsystems and low frequency systems.
An awareness of RF technology is desirable.

Ideal candidates will be educated to degree level with a minimum 5 years of applicable analogue and digital electronics design experience
* Experienced in the use of microcontrollers and programming
* Experienced in programming for test system control
* Experienced in the use of oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers, data logging equipment
