Technical Delivery Coordinator Graduate Internship to help trade show delivery and operation
We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed intern to help us deliver a successful trade show offering in January.
Established in 2003, we are a West Midlands-based company dedicated to providing innovative, cost-effective and reliable technology solutions to the education sector, particularly primary and secondary schools. With expertise in problem-solving, technology provision, installation and project management for both hardware and software, we aim to solve challenging problems in elegant ways.
We have clear plans for developing and growing our company and the BETT (British Education and Training Technology) show will be a key platform for us. The January show will be our first as exhibitors and we are working hard to ensure that we promote our services and generate interest as effectively as possible.
The Technical Delivery Coordinator intern will be required to support the technical requirements of the BETT project, including helping to coordinate development projects. A degree in a technical discipline, previous experience working in IT support or managing the delivery of IT projects (hardware or software) would be ideal for this position. A working knowledge / interest in any of the following is also desirable; VoIP / digital telephony, server virtualisation, digital signage and/or web development including graphic design. We need someone who can not only demonstrate solid technical understanding and ability but also has strong communication skills too.
Along with a non-technical intern, they'll be taking centre stage at BETT; talking to our potential clients about our company and helping to demonstrate the difference our solutions can make to their organisations.
These paid positions will be offered on fixed-term contract with BETT being the goal. Our aim is to offer full-time positions to both of the individuals on the basis of the delivery of a successful show.
We believe the opportunities available in this position will be of great value to the successful applicant from both a personal development perspective and the potential to demonstrate their skills.
If you are passionate about technology and able to understand the difference that can be made to teaching and learning experiences through its correct application, then please answer the following seven questions as verbosely or succinctly as you see fit (although 500 words per question is probably a sensible maximum). We look forward to hearing from you and wish you the very best of luck.
Please send your answers, CV and a photo if you wish to interns@responsetech.co.uk
The questions:
1. What are you strengths?
2. What are your weaknesses?
3. What do you like doing for fun that motivates you?
4. What do you hate doing?
5. What are your values?
6. What business relationships do you have?
7. Who are the influential people you know?
We're currently in the process of re-branding, however our original website is still in place if you would like to know more about RTS: www.responsetech.co.uk
