This internationally recognised design consultancy operates within a number of technical engineering markets including Automotive, Fire & Security, Medical Instrumentation and Consumer engineering.

Due to operations expansion, they seek the skills of a Software application engineer / project manager to lead the development of software projects for electronics and electro-mechanical products in a diverse range of market sectors. Initially you will be working along side the electronics team using proven offshore software services to support the software development activities. You will be required to personally develop smaller projects for embedded micro controllers, in C, with a small amount of support from the electronics team.

The successful software engineer will have experience using C software language for 8, 16, 32 and 64-bit microprocessors development and a Minimum 2:1 degree within an Engineering capacity. You must have commercial experience within a Software design and development role and also have good working knowledge of microprocessor based systems.

As a valued member of their technical team, you will have a strategic involvement of the complete design life cycle from concept design to prototype.
