Production Manager Supervisor
Below there is a general description of what will be expected from the successful candidate
To ensure all employees have work on the benches prior to start of shift.
To ensure quality, cost and delivery are number 1 priorities at all times
To be responsible for movement of work throughout the business to ensure on time delivery to customers and parts are available before starting work on the product daily.
To take on discipline issues on a day to day basis through to the Verbal Warning stage.
To ensure the Health and Safety of employees.
To communicate daily on production issues with the Works Manager
To plan daily labour to achieve forever changing demand
Overtime to be utilised only where required to meet delivery time scales
To ensure the Paint Shop have enough work to do prior to next shift, utilise labour in other areas as and when work load is short, communicate through Paint Shop Supervisor.
To be responsible for the quality of work produced by all employees and ensure poor quality is dealt with accordingly, work with the Quality Manager and team to improve and remove errors.
Update daily spreadsheets in line with manufacture, though keeping this to a minimal time scale.
Housekeeping to be maintained by all employees 5C, 5S etc, and driven by you.
To reduce costs wherever applicable throughout the working week.
To work and behave in a professional manner at all times
To be flexible with working hours and assist in covering overtime
To minimise waste through production and remove where applicable
Report in daily meetings on urgent requirements
Be a team player and self motivated - along with being a results driven individual
The above is a general requirement for the position, you will continue with any other duties not noted and from time to time be asked to undertake other duties with prior notice.
Overtime will be required as and when the factory is open, this will include Saturdays.
Candidates must have at least 2 years experience in a supervisory role in a similar environment
