JOB DESCRIPTION

The Senior Oracle Consultant will be located in Varna, Bulgaria. S/he will be integrated into the local DBA team to help them improve the production delivery environment.

S/he will suggest and implement different ways and solutions in order to optimize the system. His/her tasks will be such as, but not limited to:

o Maintain complex centralized and distributed computer systems in a multi-vendor environment
o Suggest and implement technical solutions regarding automatic processes
o 9i to 10g systems migration
o Installation and configuration of Oracle 9i / 10g
o RAC installation on AIX 5.3L + HACMP
o Grid Control
o Delta Tuning
o DataGuard
o Batch management, disk space administration, performance tuning
o Backup/Restore, systems tuning
o Work in support handling a wide range of technical issues from various customers in several countries/cities

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Administering ORACLE servers
• Support & installation of Oracle database Application Server
• RMAN backup & recovery
• Knowledge of operating systems (AIX + HACMP, Linux, SUN, HP-UX), IP Services
• System migration skils (9i to 10g)
• RAC on AIX + HACMP

• Minimum advanced level of written and spoken English
• Customer and service orientation, ability to operate well in an international and multicultural environment
• Analytical skills
• Communicative and able to work in a team
• Reliable, flexible & motivated person
