Branch Manager Major Chinese Bank

The Birmingham Bank Branch Manager will be responsible for managing and marketing to all Branch customers; and planning, developing and managing the delivery of all functions within the Branch. This position requires a good level of Mandarin and English. Cantonese is also useful.

The Branch Manager will fulfill the following roles:

Developing and implementing business plan and strategies of the Branch to deliver the Retail Banking objectives.
Overseeing development and implementation of the Branch marketing plan to ensure marketing initiatives are delivered and monitoring competitor movement.
Risk control in accordance with the Bank risk policy and procedures.
Maintaining good relations with Branch key customers through regular contacts.
Liaising with sister branches in order to exchange business information and provide support when necessary.
Responsible for staff performance management and other human resources.

Experience Required:

Experience within Financial Services industry
Proven track record in similar department/business stream
Staff management and development experience
Strong skills in oral and written English and Chinese - Cantonese and Mandarin
Familiarity with banking products and customer service
