My client currently have an exciting opportunity for a skilled IT Professional with a strong network administration background. They are looking to bring someone in to support the infrastructure and systems for approximately 70 users, 30% of which will be working remotely.

Some of the main responsibilities of the role are as follows:

* Providing swift response to technical support requests including; installation, maintenance and on-site training.
* Provide technical expertise for all network users.
* Ensure system integrity and assist in installation of technology upgrades.
* Document and maintain inventory of current software and hardware licenses.

Candidates suitable for the role will have the following experience:

* Experience in a technical helpdesk environment.
* Strong experience of IBM Lotus Notes client & server applications.
* Strong experience of supporting Windows XP and 2003.
* Strong experience of Microsoft Server technologies.
* Experience of working within a Cisco environment.
* Experience of working with an AS/400 system; managing administration, generating reports and training other users.
* Any candidates with a background in stock management systems would be desirable.
