Job title: IT support engineer

Description

Experienced computer support engineer required to cover the Manchester to London corridor and surrounding areas visiting our business and private customers.


Duties include installing, configuring and maintaining IT systems.


You must be:

Honest.
Professional.
Presentable.
Self motivated.
Able to work on your own initiative.


Required skills

Microsoft and Apple operating system installation, configuration and troubleshooting.
Hardware and software installation, configuration and troubleshooting.
Server configuration, installation and maintenance experience.
Diagnosis and replacement for logic boards, motherboards, power supplies etc.
Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of wired and wireless networking.
Virus and spyware removal.
Current full driving licence.
Own car.


Highly desirable skill

Linux server installation, configuration and troubleshooting.
Microsoft and/or Apple certification.


Notes

This position is initially temporary for 6 months
