Health & Safety and Quality Coordinator/ Safety advisor / Quality coordinator / Quality coordinator/ H&S / SHEQ advisor is required to work for a specialist organisation based in the Worcestershire area.
Established over 30 years ago our client has grown to become a leading supplier of gases to the industrial, educational, research and leisure markets. As a specialist within their field our client also offers an extensive range of Engineering Services, from the provision of turnkey installations to consultancy and design work for new projects. Due to their ongoing success and development our client are actively seeking a Health & Safety and Quality Coordinator/ Safety advisor / Quality coordinator / Quality coordinator/ H&S / SHEQ advisor to promote a positive proactive SHEQ culture and continued development of high SHEQ standards throughout the organisation.
Key Duties include:
* Audit departments, processes, suppliers and contractors to ensure conformity with relevant legislation, relevant industry codes of practice and company approved SHEQ operational process and procedures.
* Assist management in maintaining and developing safe systems of work.
* Assist management with incident investigation and the development of preventative measures.
* Provide operational safety advice and guidance to all staff and customers.
* Ensure Safety, Health and Environmental risk assessments exist for all company undertakings and that they are appropriate, up to date and identified control measures effectively implemented.
* Assist Management in resolving SHEQ issues both within the organisation and at Customer sites.
* Maintain SHEQ records and provide detailed analysis and mapping, in establishing and developing SHEQ systems to ensure high standards are maintained and continued compliance with legal and industry standards.
* Develop an understanding of applicable legislation and industry standards.
* Develop and publish SHEQ promotional material.
* To ensure that your actions or omissions do not create unacceptable safety and health risks to yourself or other persons. To report any shortcomings in the company's safety control measures.

As the company is structured into specialist engineering teams you will be required to interact throughout all areas of the business, Identifying, developing and implement improvements in SHEQ systems through proactive and reactive reviews. You will ideally have been in a Health & Safety and Quality Coordinator/ Safety advisor / Quality coordinator / Quality coordinator/ H&S / SHEQ advisor role which required you to ensure compliance with regulatory and industry requirements whilst continuing to promote a positive health and safety culture throughout a organisation
Coming from a Health and Safety background with exposure to environmental and quality systems issues you will be able to demonstrate an extensive and successful career and have experience within a Safety discipline. Ideally educated to degree level in a relevant subject area and in possession of the NEBOSH Diploma, you will be confident, diplomatic, energetic and able to communicate at all levels.
