Mediplacements are currently recruiting a Pharmacist with experience in Community or Hospital Pharmacy for an immediately available permanent role in a prison setting close to Birmingham.
- £29,000 - £37,000 + long term recruitment and retention premium.

-9-5pm Full time hours
You will be a Band 7 Pharmacist leading a three-strong dispensing team as part of a wide prison unit. The prison has extensive new facilities, including a new Pharmacy in which the candidate will be based. This expansion is aimed to aid the rehabilitation of young offenders but also provides a secure and progressive working environment.
Working with the prisoners, the pharmacist role will involve offering advice on compliance and treatment for minor ailments.
You will enjoy a wider remit than you will find in most pharmacies, with the scope to develop pharmacy clinics across both sites, focusing on areas such as mental health and substance misuse.
As a qualified Pharmacist with RPSGB registration, you will bring experience of working in a community or hospital based setting with other healthcare professionals. And you will enjoy the chance to help with training local pharmacy students.
