We are the Birmingham Blitz Derby Dames. Birmingham, England's original all female, flat track competitive roller derby league.

Our 2008/2009 season came to an end in July. We have had 13 bouts against other leagues since we started competing in 2007, with 10 wins, making us the most successful league in the country. We are also second seeded in Europe after reaching the final of Europe's first ever roller derby tournament.

Our new season started in September and we want to recruit YOU!

The Blitz Dames run weekly training sessions in Birmingham with a newbie induction class on the first Saturday of every month.

Next Induction is Saturday November 7th, 9.40am @ Stockland Green Leisure Centre Erdington. Skates are limited on a first come first served basis! It's totally FREE!

We want you to join Central England's actively competitive roller derby league, train with us and soon you could be playing other roller derby teams across the country and the world!

The Blitz Dames all have one thing in common - we kick ass and we want you to join us!

Don't worry if skating is not your strong point, we will train you to skate!

All ages welcome - Our league has members from 18 to 48!

We're looking for ladies who want to have fun, get fit and skate - it doesn't matter if you haven't skated in years, or if you're a world champion!

We can train you from any level.
