Business Development Representative
The main responsibilities of the role include
Maintain excellent client relationships via written, telephone and personal contact.
Account management for existing clients.
New business development.
Co-ordination with other departments within the Company to achieve the overall business plan objectives.
Develop and provide support skills to operational and service areas within Briggs Environmental Services.
Adhere to Company policies and procedures.
The role will report to the General Manager UK and the territory covered will be England
Our client is looking to recruit a self-motivated individual who can work on their own initiative to exceed the expected targets.With the ability to sell a diverse range of services and products including emergency response, training, equipment hire.Also the ability to quickly assimilate new information and apply that knowledge in a commercial environment in order to seek new business and develop existing accounts.
Suitable candidates should be educated to degree standard in a relevant subject, eg chemistry, biology or marine related sciences and have previous experience of sales and business development in an associated business area, eg emergency spill response, waste management, land remediation, equipment hire, environmental and marine services and a flexible approach that will enable active participation in the delivery of business activities.
Ideally, we are looking for candidates with a background in the environmental sector.
