Required: IT Support Analyst
Role: Based in Shrewsbury a position has arisen for someone to join the support team. Responsible for providing technical across a number of departments, the successful candidate will be comfortable maintaining a growing network and addressing the resolution of technical problems.
Primary responsibilities will include
Installing, testing and updating new and existing software and making available to appropriate users. through software deployment management;
Setting up and maintaining user accounts, etc through Active Directory
Maintaining the Back-ups
Auditing IT Hardware
PC Hardware, Break/ Fix, Software Upgrades
Mentoring junior staff, assisting in maintaining IT Peripheral`s, scanners, printers, PDAs, etc.
Liaising with external suppliers for the purchase and the repair of equipment under warranty or maintenance contract;
Undertaking routine network maintenance
Principle Skills:
Group Policy
Windows Server 2003
Exchange Server 2003
Windows XP Professional
Knowledge of physical and logical networking
Enterprise Anti-virus and Anti-spyware solutions
Enterprise standard Internet \ content filtering
