I run a stilt walking band that plays at various festivals, corporate events, shop openings, celebrity bashes...
We have performed in Bahrain, Portugal, Holland, Turkey, at The Athens Olympics, Dubai Shopping Festival, Henley and Cowes Regatta (several times), Commonwealth Games, Millennium Dome, Earls Court, Wembley Stadium, Blenheim Palace, Royal Courts of Justice, Greys Inn, The Savoy Hotel, Natural History & Science Museums, National Portrait Gallery, Glastonbury Festival, & Epsom, Kempton, Windsor and Brighton Racecourses.
£200-£350, per musician, per gig. 80 to 150 gigs per year, though you don't have to commit to all of them, if you don't want to.

The stilts we use are plasterer and decorators stilts, so it doesn't take an athlete to be able to walk on them. It's the quality of your playing that I'm interested in, not the stilt walking.
We are also developing a 'ground-based' cabaret band, based on the musicians and instrumentation of the current musicians in Poles Apart
You would have to move to Brighton to join this band.
