Account Manager
An account manager job based in Studley, this position requires an experienced account manager or business development focused individual with a background in IT or telecoms.
This rapidly expanding organisation has an exciting opportunity for a motivated and hard-working candidate with the ability to quickly build rapport and build lasting relationships.
The successful candidate will manage an existing client base whilst handling 25 'key clients' on a daily basis. The successful candidate will have previous experience in Service Delivery, Account Management and Account Development to support the criteria outlined below:
Key tasks:
- Identifying and supporting clients expectations to ensure on-going delivery of service is aligned with their requirements
- Communicating and resolving commercial or support issues which are impacting upon the client experience or relationship by delivering mutual resolutions
- Attend local and remote client meetings whilst acting as first point of escalation
- Reporting client feedback and requirements into the organisation to ensure it develops it's portfolio in-line with market needs
- Understand each client business and extend the delivery of the company portfolio
- Partner with the other areas of the organisation to provide pre-sales support including, implementation planning and business case development

You will have a proven track record in account management or sales and have a background working within either the IT or telecoms industry. Other skills and experience must include:
- Proven track record of managing and developing client accounts in a business to business environment
- The ability to work autonomously and lead client meetings
- Good project management skills and the proven ability to work within strict time constraints
- Excellent commercial acumen and understanding of Internet technologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good knowledge of MS Office applications
- Full driving licence
- Knowledge of Project Management methodologies
- Practical understanding of Internet Technology Issues
