Hello,

My name is Laura Godwin and I have just completed my final year of study at Birmingham Conservatoire studying for a BMus (Hons) specialising in Vocal and Operatic Studies.

I am organising two, one week singing courses over the summer holiday (last week of July and first week of August) for children in the local community.

The workshops will run daily from 10am-3pm from St. Francis Church (where I direct the St. Francis Church Children’s Choir), and we would work towards a performance on the Friday afternoon for friends and family etc.

During the first week we will be working towards a production of The Wizard of Oz, and during the second week we will be working towards a production called The Keymaster.

COST
£100 per child (per week)*
= 25 hours of tuition - £4 per hour!

*Reduced price is available for those attending both weeks of the course, also for families with more than one child attending the course – Please call Laura for details – 0781-761-7923.

This includes the cost of professional musical tuition, hiring a professional pianist for rehearsal, hiring another professional tutor to undertake drama/art workshops for setting the production, and producing props and venue hire.

Please note – No refunds will be given for cancellation of a child’s place on the course, unless a replacement participant can be found.
