Senior Breeam Assessor Sustainability Consultant
The Company
Our Client is one of Europe's leading multidisciplinary design practices with Engineers, Architects and allied professions combining to create award winning buildings. They are committed to producing buildings and environments of the highest quality for their clients. They are looking to recruit a high calibre, experienced and appropriately qualified Senior BREEAM Assessor to join their expanding Environmental Engineering group in the Head Office and to work on high profile projects. This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly expanding company.
The Position
The role entails working within the companies Energy and Sustainability team involving BREEAM reporting to support both internal and external Clients. The candidate will have an extensive lead role in the assessment, analysis and rating of buildings. This will be from scheme inception through to determining the final rating in conjunction sometimes with thier internal services design engineers.
It would be desirable if the individual's experience extends to a thorough understanding of the aspects of Sustainable Development and Building Regulations compliance. Previous experience in energy and carbon related activities would also be beneficial.
Any candidate should be both customer and commercially focused and be able to contribute to their projects for both public and private sector clients and be experienced in leading projects through direct Client contact.
A successful candidate will work with and report to the Associate Director of the Energy and Sustainability team.
The Energy and Sustainability team support the West Midlands operations, other internal office locations and external Clients.
The Person
Any candidates should be proficient and well experienced in BREEAM and be qualified ideally to 'Bespoke' assessment level enabling them to complete assessments for a wide range of different building types. However consideration will also be given to candidates that are qualified in a variety of differing BREEAM Schemes.
An ideal candidate will be academically qualified to degree level in a relevant discipline with previous experience and be capable of actively contributing, developing and analysing proposed buildings as well as providing advice to Clients in terms proposing solutions to increase respective ratings.
Candidates should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be IT literate and capable of working in a team or semi-autonomously.
Salary and benefits will be dependant upon skills and experience but this is deemed a Senior Position.
