Hi,
I am a 42 year-old male of mixed race with the usual paraphernalia, good job, own house, car, degree-educated etc… Physically I’m 5ft 9inches tall with an athletic build and love intelligent conversation, good food and cultural activities and have a very youthful outlook on life.
Female friends tell me I scrub up nicely so I guess I have something going on in the looks department but only you can decide that?

Having been in and now out of a conventional relationships Inow find myself at a crossroads. I know that I want and need the benefits of a conventional relationship, companionship, support, sharing etc…. But at the same time I enjoy my own company space and independence! (I know what you are thinking Cake and Eat it!).
You may well be right but I can assure you that my intentions are sincere if not a little confused. This all sounds a little unconventional but Im just trying to be as honest as I can. I feel that there must be a female out there somewhere who is feeling or felt the same way? Who wants some of the benefits of a relationship but wants to retain a degree of independence.
Im not looking for a mistress or casual sex just a genuine lasting partnership.
