We currently have a vacancy for a part-time Receptionist (16 hours/week, afternoons and early evenings Mon-Fri)
As part of a small team, the post holder’s main role is to provide a professional, friendly and efficient reception service, and the successful applicant will also be responsible for some ad hoc administration work. We are looking for a warm and approachable person for this post, with good written and verbal communication skills, a smart appearance and a good standard of education (including a qualification in English). Applicants must have a flexible attitude, be willing and able to cover for absent colleagues (which may mean working occasional full-time hours), demonstrate good attention to detail, and must be able to work efficiently under pressure and in a busy and often noisy environment. They must have good organisational and administration skills, good numeracy skills and be proficient in the use of MS Office applications. Prior experience of working on a busy reception and knowledge of the issues facing adults with a learning disability is desirable.
