Team Support Officer
The Company Office Team are currently for a busy public sector client based in the Birmingham area
The Role
Duties and responsibilities will include;
1. Service a range of internal and external meetings, booking and preparing meeting rooms, arranging refreshments, taking minutes and following up actions as required. Arrange meetings for people internally and externally, using an electronic office management system
2. Prepare documents ensuring that the clerical and secretarial needs me are met, using a range of computer packages.
3. Provide administrative and record keeping procedures to support the team, for example, team diary management and booking rooms.
4. Maintain an efficient and accurate filing and contacts system, manually and on the computer updating it to meet the requirements of the team. Maintain a computerised database of service users, in order to support the monitoring and evaluation of services delivered.
5. Take responsibility for the management of petty cash accounts, reconciling the bank balance and preparing the cash for banking; be an authorised signatory for financial payments.
6. Support the office manager to ensure the computer network functions effectively at all times. Carry out the daily back-up of the I.T system and report any problems to the office manager. 7. Finance administration for the centre, entering purchase invoices onto bespoke in-house system
Salary & Benefits
This is a temporary ongoing position with an hourly rate of £7.50ph.
