There are 4 rooms and we are looking at a room per person. I only live down the road in another house share with 3 other people in our 20s. The last guys who lived in the house we got a long with quite well so we are hoping to have the same relationship with anyone who moves in. Location 20 mins walk from the city centre so most mornings we just walk it as a morning exercise as its nice weather now. At the end of the road is a small shopping centre and bus stop with buses to the city centre every 5 mins. It takes 3-5 mins bus ride from town so the bus fair is cheap (short hop ride If you drive the house is 3 mins from the motorway a road away from the Birmingham ring road and A roads leading to Walsall and Sutton Coldfield. As this house is just outside the city centre ring road there is plenty of off road parking. Brilliant location if you want to go to the city centre to catch the train or go on the motorway heading neither north or south. House 4 double rooms over 3 stories meaning the rooms are spacious and the house is bigger than most. Our kitchen is massive so we can have a posh dining table plenty of cupboard space fridge freezer kettle microwave toaster washing machine. We enjoy central heating over the summer double glazing windows. There is a garden with chairs and table for the bbq moments. There is a new bathroom with toilet bath shower and downstairs there is a separate toilet which comes in handy. Rent If you want to compare to other places it is £50 £54 £56 exclusive. I have spoken to the landlord and he has agreed to pay for all bills (water council tax communal Tv licence plus wireless broadband) except for the gas and electricity. This is because if there are rooms free there will be no one to share the bills with subsequently the cost will be more than usual. To be honest if the rooms aren t filled it isn t really your fault. Therefore all you need to pay for is £10 per person per week which is £60 £64 £66 per week inclusive of everything but gas and electric no matter if there are 4 people in the house or just you. Another way of saving money is to pay for the gas and electricity yourself. Most landlords will charge you all-inclusive price including bills and the gas electric charge in the monthly charge is more than enough to cover the cost just in case the tenant waste energy. Even though we have opted out for the rent to include the energy bills but we will out in £25 per month or £5.76 per week based on 4 people sharing is £100 per month which is more than sufficient. At the end of every 3 months we will see how much the bill actually cost and I should reimburse or sometimes we put it toward buying something for ourselves or the house like toilet paper. To be completely honest we live in the same layout house down the road and our bills over the past 6 months during the winter period was only £350. This is because we all work and go out most the time so there is no one here to use energy. I m cant see this house being any different.
