Our client a leading Design and Build company specialising in the water industry is seeking a Senior Technologist (Chemical Engineering) to join their team.

Salary: £40k + Car + excellent benefits

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Purpose of job:

To identify and select new technologies in order to enhance the Company's portfolio of technologies.


Principal Duties:

Monitoring development needs and identifying possible solutions which can be implemented and/or exploited by the Company.

The design and supervision of any appropriate trials for in-house developed and bought-in solutions, equipment, plant and technologies.

Determining the future potential to register and exploit the IPR of such solutions by way of patenting, licensing etc.

Critically reviewing ideas and proposals submitted for consideration.

Preparing and presenting reports, papers and technical articles for publication and/or review by others.

Extensive liaison with technical personnel and customers at all levels.


Essential Qualifications:

A recognised qualification in chemical engineering with substantial post qualification experience in technologies within a water or process related industry.

Other experience that will be advantageous will be design and/or research and development. Experience of trouble shooting and manipulation of data and statistics.
