I need the following Team members to come and join Birmingham’s Funkiest, Urban salon.

• Creative Barbers, experienced within afro & European hair
• Female & Male Creative/Artists Hair stylists/technicians experienced within afro & European hair
• Nail technicians experienced within Acrylic, Gel & nail art & Manicures and Pedicures
• Eyebrow (Threading & plucking) Technician
• Front of House Assistant; Experienced within a salon environment
• Junior assistance
• Tattoo Artists

The above positions are available on a rental basis. (except: Front of house assistant & Junior assistant positions)
With a full support package offered to all successful candidates that consist of the following:

• Chair/room, workstation rental, rates & utilities backwash, work station, storage, display
• Front of house support Assistance meeting & greeting your clients
• Bookings, admin and reception support Telephone, walk in bookings, appointments, your call handling
• Pay advice slips Monthly breakdown of sales performed, rental fee deductions and net pay
• Payment system Cash, cheque, credit/debit card payments
• Towels provided and cleaned
• Refreshments and client care support Hot and cold refreshments, light lunches if required.
• Full usage of the salon equipment and facilities Toilets for you and clients including disabled WC. Staff / Kitchen facilities.
• Commercial Waste disposal Your waste removed from the premises
• Advertising &Marketing Advertising, printing & distribution of flyers, local media, radio & billboards, monthly e-shots and newsletters sent to all clients to stay in contact regularly
• Profile page on the website Mini profile page dedicate and created just for you
• Price lists and all promotional material Set price lost covers all levels of staff
• Structured pricing system We research and evaluate the current climate pricing, and other competitors to stay competitive
• Professional working environment The salon, and all staff members are trained and fully qualified and hold all relevant insurance
• Stability within an expanding salon Permanent position with flexible contracts in place
• Flexibility of working hours and days Minimum of three days are required, you choose the days
• Opportunity to earn a regular income Realistic weekly earnings in excess of £1000 a week

Minimal in house competition
• Team spirit You will be working as part of a team/family

Six positions for Female & Male Hair Artists/stylists
• Experienced and qualified within Men & Women’s contemporary, hair design
• Qualified to a minimum of level 2
• Experience within a salon environment desirable
• Trained within Cutting, finishing, bridal, Afro & European hair
• Must have all necessary tools and products that enable you to carry out the work required


One position for a Creative Barber
• Trained within Afro & European hair desirable (male & female barbering)
• Qualified to minimum level 2
• Experienced within a salon/barbers environment desirable
• Must have all necessary tools and products that enable you to carry out the work required


One position for a Creative Tattoo Artist
• Must have experience & be qualified to the highest level and standard
• Must hold all relevant health & safety (hygiene) certificates
• Creativity and uniqueness is essential
• Must have all the necessary tools, equipment and products that enable you to carry out the work required
• Must hold all relevant trading licenses




Two positions for a Creative Nail Technician
• Experienced within Acrylic & gel essential
• Experienced within all aspects of Hand nail treatments from; manicures, soak offs, infills, nail art to pedicures
• Qualified within All Hand & nail treatments
• Experience within a salon environment desirable
• Must have all the necessary tools & products and equipment that enable you to carry out the work required


One Position for an Eyebrow Technician
• Qualified within Threading and Plucking eyebrow procedures to the highest level & standard
• Must have all the necessary tools, equipment and products that enable you to carry out the work required
• Experience within a salon environment desirable


Two positions for Front of House Assistant SALARY: TBC
• Experience within Reception and administration essential
• Of a smart and trendy appearance
• Excellent telephone manner
• Marketing/sales experience is desirable
• Salon environment experience preferred


Two positions for Junior Assistants SALARY: TBC
• No experience necessary, although experience within this role would be an advantage
• The desire to train working within a salon environment is essential
• Further training and qualifications to be negotiated
• Hair & Beauty College students welcome
