Volunteers for our New Charity Shop
Do you have some time to spare? Then why not come and work in Headway's new charity shop opening soon in Harborne, Birmingham.
We Have several vacancies: Our opening hours are Monday to Saturday 9.00 am to 4.00 pm, and we are looking for staff who can work any of these hours
Key Responsibilities:
Using the till (Full training available)
General tidying of the shop floor.
Assisting to put out stock brought down.
A friendly face for customers to chat to.
Receiving incoming donations over the counter
Skills and competences:
Friendly manner
Good cash handling - giving correct change.
What this role can offer you:
This role can offer you the opportunity to meet people and to contribute to Headway’s goal of improving life after brain injury. In addition you have the opportunity to gain retail experience in cash handling, shop floor supervision, and customer service skills. You can also gain GNVQ in retail/customer service(option).
