Commissioning Engineer - HV Switchgear and Control

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commissioning Engineer, HV Switchgear and Control to join a world leader in power and automation technologies that enable utility and industry customers to improve performance while lowering environmental impact. Is involved specifically with Electricity Transmission & Distribution.

This role is commutable from Derby, Stoke-on-Trent and Birmingham and is paying up to £30k basic with OTE (overtime etc.) In region of £45k-£50k + benefits, dependent on experience.

The Commissioning Engineer, HV Switchgear and Control will be responsible for providing the Commissioning Manager with assistance in the co-ordination and management of the commissioning process for the company.
The successful candidate will foster and promote a proactive team culture which ensures shared learning and best practice, good communication, work across boundaries and recognition of success.

Key skills/experience for the Commissioning Engineer - Switchgear and Control::
* Electricity / Power supply industry experience
* High voltage switchgear and control and protection equipment commissioning
* Minimum of HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

Candidates will ideally be qualified to a degree level within a related discipline and be eligible to work in the UK without restriction.
